Death. The Metaphysics of Transition

Death often appears to us as a boundary, yet for me, it is merely a shift of state — a moment of transition from the visible world into the subtle one. My first associations with death are not fear, but clarity: it is a natural part of our journey. If the soul’s path is infinite, death is no longer a tragedy but a passage.

My personal perspective is shaped by experience, inner choices, and family responsibilities. I do not fear death, but I approach it with caution because my children still need me. After a business trip to India, our understanding of burial changed entirely: we do not wish to burden our descendants. My family knows our clear wish — cremation and the scattering of ashes over the ocean.

On a deeper level, death is a decision point. A place where the soul chooses: to return for further lessons, to move upward toward the Absolute, or to merge entirely with the Eternal Energy. The human body has a limited lifespan, yet the meaning of life can be extended through responsibility for others. This is how one “outwits” death — not by escaping it but by transforming one’s existence.

Historically, Ukraine’s present reality makes the topic of death painfully sharp. Mass deaths caused by Russian aggression are a profound tragedy for every family. And yet the land becomes sacred: the blood of innocent victims sanctifies it, the nation grows stronger, and the aggressor becomes exhausted. History is paradoxical — suffering purifies, struggle strengthens.

I am not threatened by death; I fully accept it as part of my path. I prefer it to be instantaneous, without burdening my loved ones with prolonged care. If a crisis occurs and I remain here, it simply means I still have something meaningful to contribute.

🖋️ "Death is not an end but a quiet threshold after which the soul chooses once again."
