The Georgian Politico-Oligarchic Nexus is the convergence of political power and private financial interests, embodied in Bidzina Ivanishvili, an oligarch and the informal architect of Georgian politics. This phantom keeps ports, brokers, customs and security under its control, turning the state into a tool for personal enrichment.

This node is the informal yet absolutely dominant point of convergence between the highest political power and private financial interests, personified by a single, shadowy figure. Its essence is the usurpation of state functions for personal enrichment and the protection of shadow logistics operations. This is the node that creates and maintains a regime of absolute impunity for all subordinate phantom entities (ports, FIZs, brokers).
