This project is a philosophical and artistic study of the phenomenon of "phantom nodes" β invisible yet influential objects and subjects in the contemporary global system. The descriptions contained within this study are metaphorical and allegorical, aimed at uncovering systemic problems, regimes, and civilisational influences. They are not a journalistic investigation or legal accusations, but serve as an artistic interpretation of reality.
This creation is protected and cannot be used by third parties for the purpose of supporting, propagating, or legitimizing criminal regimes, terrorist states, and organizations operating in the shadows. The use of data or analysis results from this project, whether in part or in full, is expressly prohibited if the objective is to support or conceal their criminal activity.
The project may be freely used by individuals and organizations that combat evil, corruption, and aggression.
Mode: Military-Financial Occupation
π³οΈ Released Phantom Node 72: The Key Architect. IRGC & Economic Conglomerates
The foundation that turns authority into currency.
Who is this?
Not a single person β a system. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) together with its commercial arms (notably Khatam al-Anbiya and Setad/EIKO-type funds) form an institutional network that fuses military command with large economic assets, operating as a parallel locus of power.
Type of node:
Political-military and financial conglomerate.
Status:
A shadow governance structure β partly legal, partly opaque, exercising supra-institutional influence.
Form of control:
Control of major state contracts, ownership of critical infrastructure (ports, construction, energy), and networks of subsidiaries and shell entities.
Phantom image:
A heavyset architect in a safety vest: building projects as the faΓ§ade of power β contracts signed in ink, allegiances secured in silence.
What remains after the phantom:
Contract archives, logistics chains, currency flows, and hidden ledgers β the network persists even when faces recede.
Core of the node:
What sustained it?
Access to resources, preferential access to state tenders, market dominance in energy and construction, embedded corrupt practices, and the ability to operate in grey economies.
How did it become a phantom?
By institutionalizing power: the individual drivers fade, leaving a durable machinery of influence.
Why does the phantom still exist?
Institutional inertia, dependency of public projects on these conglomerates, international trade channels and sanction-evasion methods that entrench them.
Phantomβs condition:
Active, monopolized, partially legalized, partially shadowed.
After the regime:
β Exposure of contracts and assets;
β Targeted sanctions and legal actions;
β Restructuring of public procurement;
β Efforts to repatriate assets into transparent sectors.
Collective reaction:
We accept development β not monopoly. Infrastructure must serve citizens, not conceal power.
Core principle:
When military force becomes a business enterprise, the state loses its role as an impartial arbiter of the common good.
Alt-text:
A monumental silhouette in construction gear stands before an oil platform and a busy port; its limbs take the shape of contracts and offshore ropes.

𫧠Phantom Node Dossier 72: The Key Architect: IRGC & Economic Conglomerates. The "Military-Financial Occupation" Regime.
Key Aspects of the Phantom:
"The Military-Financial Occupation Regime." The essence of this node is the systemic fusion of the military elite (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, IRGC) with key economic conglomerates (Khatam al-Anbiya, Setad/EIKO). This alliance creates a self-financing, state-unaccountable mechanism that controls Iran's legal and shadow economic sectors, generating the foreign currency and logistical infrastructure necessary for missile, nuclear, and UAV programs.
Regimes (which it directly shapes/supports):
π Regime of "Military-Financial Occupation": The IRGC, through its conglomerates, acts as a parallel government, operating infrastructure (ports, construction, oil) and leveraging state resources for its own military and foreign policy goals.
π° Regime of "Sanctions Transformation": The conversion of sanctions pressure into a competitive advantage for IRGC conglomerates, as they gain a monopolistic right to operate in 'grey' zones, pushing out legitimate private businesses.
π‘οΈ Regime of "Institutionalized Impunity": Providing protection and legal camouflage for manufacturing and financial branches (like SHIG, SBIG, Mahan Air), as their operations are masked by a civilian or military-construction facade.
π Regime of "Internal Capital Redistribution": The systematic redirection of currency flows, derived from construction, oil, and exports, directly into the funding of the Quds Force's external activities and the military-industrial complex.
Tools (which it actively uses/oversees):
ποΈ Khatam al-Anbiya: A mega-consortium spanning construction, infrastructure, and oil and gas. It acts as the largest civilian facade, securing state contracts while directing profits back to the IRGC.
π¦ Setad/EIKO-type Foundations: Vast, unaccountable economic empires that manage historically confiscated assets and invest in key sectors, serving as a strategic reserve base for financing and logistics.
π€ "Sleeper" Managers and Officers: The placement of retired or active IRGC officers to directly manage key industrial enterprises, ensuring full military control over civilian logistics.
π Monopolistic Intermediation: The forced use of IRGC conglomerates as the sole legitimate/shadow intermediary for all major international projects in Iran.
Civilizational Influences (which it embodies/exploits):
π Distributed Military Influence: The IRGC uses this financial base to export its military and ideological interests (via the Quds Force) throughout the Middle East, destabilizing the region.
π Market Distortion: The creation of a distorted economic environment where corruption is inherent to state policy, making external, transparent investment impossible.
π€ Sponsorship of Aggression: This node is the direct source of funding for the supply of UAVs and missiles to Russia, having a direct impact on security in Europe and Ukraine.
βοΈ Bureaucratic Criminality: The embodiment of a model where a state institution is itself the most organized and financially endowed criminal network.
