Albert Jackson Bush III, (Trippe), 20, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2002 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Trippe graduated from St. Joseph's Catholic School in 1996 and from Bishop Kenny High School in 2000, with honors. He was a junior at Florida State University. He is preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Doris Brooks Bush. Trippe is survived by his parents, Jack and Cathy Bush; two sisters, Brooks and Mary Catherine Bush; maternal grandparents, Tony and Jean Gonzales; maternal aunts and uncles, Mary Ann Broome (Paul), Tony Gonzales, Jr., Cindy Gonzales, Mark Gonzales (Ramona), Michael Gonzales (Shann); paternal aunt, Janice Laberge (Wayne); paternal uncle, John Bush, and paternal grandfather Jack Bush (Susan), and many loving cousins and friends. Trippe lived his life to the fullest. He was an avid FSU football fan and has been attending games, with his Aunt Mary Ann, since early childhood. 


Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 24, 2002 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 11730 Old St. Augustine Road, with The Reverend Daniel Cody officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, August 23, 2002 with a Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. at Hardage–Giddens Mandarin Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Boulevard. Personal tributes may be posted to Trippe's Everlasting Memorial at hardage-giddens.com. Pallbearers will be Chris Oehler, Ryan Curran, Justin Boales, John Pafford, Bret Bottin, Anthony Saladino, Tim Smallwood, Brian Lundbloom, and Jeff Coultrip. Honorary pallbearers include Michael Faber, Ryan Driber, Michael Schultz, and Jimmy Tyrell. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Bishop Kenny girl's softball team, the St. Joseph's building fund, or St. Joseph's Catholic School.
We thank God for the 20 years of beautiful memories. Trippe will remain in our hearts forever.
