The book was born during the preparation for the IBJJF Miami Spring Open - 2020. We decided to systematize the exercises with the Gi and tested them on experienced jitters and judokas. Not everyone can sag on the Gi for at least a minute, not to mention simple complications: rocking the body, pulling up with a corner, hanging with extra load, or working with a wet Gi. Our fingers and hand as a whole are much weaker than the other muscles of the body and are the “weak link”. Without strengthening the hand we cannot realize all the available power of the back, arms and legs. After a month of daily practice, during the competitions in Miami, I felt a huge advantage in pulling, controlling, working with lapels.
