Wanda Lou Thomas

Wanda Lou Thomas, 84, passed away on Saturday March 5, 2022. She was born in Huntington, West Virginia in 1937 to the Truman and Audrey (Perry) Blankenship and has lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She was a member of Starratt Road Baptist Church, she was a graduate of Wayne County High School of Jessup, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband William H. Thomas, Jr., and her brother Truman Blankenship. Survivors include her son Albert Jesse “Boe” Lewis of Yulee; sisters, Donna Lee Conner, and Lynda Williams; several nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 10, 2022 at 3pm in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, Jacksonville, with Truman Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in Ferreira Cemetery Jacksonville. The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home starting at 2pm.
