Essence of the Node
What held it together?
— Dynasty.
— Worldview as a duty.
— The desire to replace God with the “Great Leader.”
This is more than a body.
It’s a belief that a beginning should have no end.
That the “father of the nation” must remain — so the nation remains unchanged.
How was it created?
— After Kim Il Sung’s death in 1994
— His residence was transformed into a mausoleum
— Kim Jong Il was added
— A cult of eternal lineage was formed
Why did it still function?
— Because portraits were revered from childhood
— Because even tourists must bow their heads
— Because the system had no other origin point
State of the Phantom
The phantom of Kim Il Sung is monumental, but tired.
His figure still guards the myth of eternal harmony.
But even eternity needs rest.
He is walking out by his own will.
Because he sees his silhouette no longer sustains the system —
it merely dims the light around it.
His exit is not a collapse.
It’s the first gesture of freedom.
Collective Response
We no longer hold
any soul in the corridors of power.
We do not preserve the past
to live in it forever.
We open the door.
He may leave.
For everyone who once ruled — has done what they could.
And has earned the right — to move on.
