This project is a philosophical and artistic study of the phenomenon of "phantom nodes" — invisible yet influential objects and subjects in the contemporary global system. The descriptions contained within this study are metaphorical and allegorical, aimed at uncovering systemic problems, regimes, and civilisational influences. They are not a journalistic investigation or legal accusations, but serve as an artistic interpretation of reality.
Names are included because they appear in open international sources.

Mode: Operational Rear and Hybrid Puppet
🕳️ Released Phantom Node 103: Belarus. Lukashenka’s Regime. The Last Dictator and the War Puppet
“Shadow accomplice”: a state that surrendered sovereignty and became an instrument of war.
Who is this?
Lukashenka’s regime is not merely authoritarian rule, but the systemic transformation of Belarus into a full military-logistical appendage of Russia. The country functions as a rear base, launchpad, and testing ground for hybrid threats while formally preserving statehood. Its role in the war is masked as “alliance,” yet operationally it acts as part of Russia’s war machine.
Type of node:
Political-military / logistical / hybrid
Status:
Satellite state under full external control
Form of control:
Military integration, political dependency, media control, repressive apparatus
Phantom image:
A military puppet merging Belarusian and Russian outlines
What remains after the phantom:
War infrastructure, fear, broken sovereignty
Core of the node:
What sustained it?
Provision of territory for Russian troops, repair and maintenance of equipment, integration into the Russian defense industry, and a unified propaganda space.
How did it become a phantom?
The state lost agency, shifting from political actor to operational function of aggression.
Why does the phantom still exist?
Through coercion, repression, absence of democratic mechanisms, and Kremlin backing.
Phantom’s condition:
Active, dependent, institutionally merged with the aggressor
After the regime:
– Belarus’s role as an accomplice to aggression exposed
– military and logistical integration with Russia dismantled
– use of territory for attacks criminalized
– audits of military, industrial, and security structures conducted
– sovereign control over borders and infrastructure restored
– political accountability and international subjectivity returned
Collective reaction:
A state is not a shield for aggression.
Sovereignty leased away always returns as liability.
Core principle:
A country that abandons responsibility becomes a weapon in чужі hands.
Alt-text:
Graphite illustration of Belarus as Lukashenka’s military puppet, controlled by an invisible hand. Migrants turn into barbed wire, railway-track arms move trains with Russian military equipment, and smoke from defense plants darkens the sky.

🫧 Phantom Node Dossier 103: Belarus: Lukashenka's Regime. The "Last Dictator and Military Puppet" Regime.
Key Aspects of the Phantom:
"Accomplice in the Shadows." Belarus under the Lukashenka regime has ceased to be a sovereign state, transforming into a full-fledged military-logistical appendage of the Russian Federation. Its phantom essence lies in using Belarusian territory as a staging ground for aggression, a rear for repair and supply, and a testing ground for hybrid threats. It is a "puppet state" that provides its infrastructure, resources, and even people for the war, masking Russia's direct involvement.
Regimes:
🪖 Operational Rear Regime: Providing its territory for the deployment of Russian troops, storage of weaponry, logistical hubs, and repair bases, reducing the vulnerability of the Russian military-industrial complex.
🚧 Migration Weapon Regime: Instrumentalizing illegal migration at the borders with the EU to destabilize European societies and divert resources from Ukraine.
⛓️ Industrial Assimilation Regime: Integration of Belarusian military factories into the Russian military-industrial complex, where Belarusian enterprises repair Russian equipment and produce components for it.
🤐 Political Dependency Regime: Complete subordination of Belarus's foreign and domestic policy to the Kremlin's interests, transforming it into a voting satellite in international organizations.
Tools:
✈️ Airbases and Training Grounds: Providing airfields for basing Russian aviation (including nuclear-capable carriers) and military training grounds for training and forming new Russian units.
🚂 Railway Network: Using Belarus's dense railway network for rapid deployment of military echelons and equipment to the Ukrainian borders.
🏭 Repair Plants: Belarusian enterprises acting as "repair workshops" for damaged Russian military equipment, allowing Russia to save its own capacities.
📢 Media Integration: Coordination of propaganda narratives and information campaigns with Russian media, creating a shared disinformation space.
Civilizational Influences:
📉 Regional Security Degradation: Transforming Central Europe into a zone of military escalation and hybrid threats.
⚖️ Erosion of International Law: Creating a precedent for aggression by a third party that avoids direct responsibility but provides critical support.
🌍 Testing Hybrid Models: Belarus becomes a testing ground for hybrid attacks (migration, cyber) that can be scaled to other regions.
🩸 Prolongation of the War: Belarusian support reduces the burden on the Russian economy and military-industrial complex, allowing Russia to wage a longer war of attrition.
