A data center can be compared to a human body. Servers are like the brain, where information is processed. Wires are like the nervous system, through which signals are transmitted. The energy that powers the servers is like the energy that a person receives from food and the environment.
Just as in the human body, balance between energy and information is important in a data center. Lack of energy can lead to server malfunctions, and an overabundance of information can lead to overload and slow down the system.
