Inside the dim garage, The Player (INDIA) pulls a black notebook from his inner pocket. It isn’t a symbol of trust — it’s a ledger. Inside, the page lists: “oil,” “weapons,” “discounts,” “schemes,” “services.” Each item has numbers beside it. Not emotions. Not ideology. Numbers. The handwriting is steady, confident — the handwriting of someone who calculates instead of believing.
The Former Kingpin (RU-COUNTRY) leans closer, trying to read the page. His movement is a mixture of anxiety and hope, as if he wants reassurance that he still matters. But The Player shuts the notebook in one controlled motion — a gesture that is colder than any word he could speak. His expression doesn’t change. The silence between them becomes the only honest line of the “alliance.”
To the viewer, the truth becomes obvious: for The Player, partnership ends where profit ends. Everything else is theatre for someone else’s audience.
This is not ideology — it is accounting. And the balance sheet always favors one side.
