Hurry To Do Good!
Mikhail Kononenko, physics teacher,
known as a Diver
The Device of December 1988
At the center of a university lecture hall — a simple desk.
On it stands a transparent pyramid, carefully assembled by hand with the help of epoxy resin.
Inside the structure — three levels:
on each level, a single wheat grain placed on a moist cloth napkin.
Next to it — on a separate napkin — a control grain.
The scene remains in partial shadow.
The focus is entirely on the pyramid — and what is inside it.
In the blurred background, the silhouettes of students and professors form a soft arc.
They are only the backdrop.
The true center is what was built by hand:
a form where life reveals itself differently.
Above the scene, a neon phrase glows softly:
THE DEVICE OF DECEMBER 1988
This work is about believing
that even as a sixth grader, one can create a space for real growth.
